One day in February of 2000 while driving down Central Ave. in Albuquerque, I spotted this car sitting on a used car lot. When I circled back to take another look at the car my wife asked me what I was looking at. I informed her that it was a GTO. She replied that she didn't see one on the lot. After doing the research I found it to be a true GTO that was purchased originally in Colorado. It has a 1972 455ci motor with headers, a 4-speed manual transmission and rally gauges. It had a new coat of paint on it but the interior needed restoration and the rest of the car needed a good detailing. Since then, the car has been to Denver, CO and Pontiac, MI for GTOAA meets. I have taken it to Topeka, KS to an AACA meet and received a third place prize there. The did not like the headers and oversize tires. This car is drive to all the shows here in this state. I truly believe that you need to get out and drive these cars to enjoy them! I hope you enjoy the photos!
