My most memorable moment with the car happened traveling along NM Highway 104 between
Las Vegas and Tucumcari when the speedometer pegged 140mph. I was on my return trip from the
2005 Hooters' Halloween Car Show in Albuquerque. By the way, I had a great time guys and I'm
looking forward to my next visit!
The question I'm asked most about the car involves the marquis plate. "What does your license plate, 'No Kid' mean?"
Actually, when I selected 'No Kid' as my plate I wasn't thinking at all about having "an empty nest",
"being old", or "not kidding around." I was actually thinking about Goats. The new GTO is smaller and
less ominous than its predecessor, and I'd heard some references to it being a "baby goat." Well, make
no mistake, with the LS2 muscle this car has under the hood it's a full-fledged Goat, and definetly NO KID!
