Land Of Enchantment GTO's

Land of Enchantment GTO's is an enthusiast car club based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are the only GTOAA chartered chapter in New Mexico. We have 30 members on our roster and our members cars are Tempests, Lemans',(G)T-37's, and GTO's from 1964-1974, and of course the brand new series beginning with the 2004. We also have members who own other fine Pontiacs such as: Can Am, Firebird, Gran Prix and Trans Am.

We welcome all Pontiac enthusiasts to take part in our events and come to our meetings. You need not own a GTO, so come on out and see us!

Announcements

September Club meeting & Picnic

The September Club meeting will not be held on the first Thursday of the month. Instead it will be held on the 11th of September and will also serve as the club's picnic/pot luck.

It will be held at the home of Walt and Renee Butler, 8100 Palo Duro Ave., 4 PM – 9 PM. The club will supply paper goods and drinks. Hope to see you there!

Annual Fall Cruise

The fall cruise will be Oct. 9th this year. We will be meeting at Central & Tramway on the SOUTHWEST side .. We will meet at 10:00 we will travel on old RT66 then north. We will have lunch in Santa Fe . LET'S GO CRUISING. EVERY ONE IS INVITED you do not have to have a GTO to enjoy the cruise with us...

Recent Club Events

2010 GTOAA Nationas in Wichita

The GTOAA held the national convention in Wichita this year and it was a very busy weekend for the LOEGTOS crew who attended this event. We gorged on BBQ, Cowtown was a neat experience, biscuits and gravy (only sausage gravy, sorry Kim!) and got to see many beautiful GTO's. Many of us came home with an award of one type or another.

The Albuquerque Museum Show is widely considered the best car show in town. This year was no different and there were many fine representatives of automotive history! Right, Keith?

Motor Trend presented its International Car Show here in Albuquerque. We were invited to display our cars on the 25th of April.

This year we were able to achieve our goal of bringing together every production year of GTO from 1964 to 2006. We had a good turn out with 20 cars participating.

The Buick, Olds, Pontiac and Cadillac Car Show was held on the 18th of April at the Pitre Dealership. Several of our club members won awards and all had fun on a really nice day to have a car show.
